SORSOGON GETS 10 FIRETRUCKS, 2 AMBULANCES FROM BFP

Sorsogon Governor Boboy Hamor expressed his appreciation as the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) presented the province with 10 brand-new fire trucks and two fully-equipped ambulances.

The assets, which were officially handed over by BFP Bicol Regional Director C/Supt. Ricardo Perdigon, in a simple ceremony with provincial administrator Franco Eric Ravanilla at the capitol compound.

The acquisition of these vital assets marks a significant milestone in enhancing the response capabilities of the province in the event of fires and other related emergencies.

Hamor emphasized the importance of having these modern resources to safeguard the lives and properties of the people of Sorsogon.

“These firetrucks and ambulances will greatly contribute to our ability to respond swiftly and effectively during emergencies,” the governor remarked.

The ambulances, on the other hand, are fully equipped with essential medical supplies and life-saving equipment to provide immediate medical assistance during emergencies.

Hamor concluded by expressing his gratitude to the Bureau of Fire Protection for their unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety of the community.
