SUBIC BEACH EYED AS TOP BICOL TOURIST DESTINATION

Sorsogon Governor Boboy Hamor recently conducted an ocular visit to Calintaan Island to meet with various lot owners and stakeholders in connection with the upcoming full development project for Subic Beach. 

The project aims to make Subic Beach a world-class destination while preserving its natural beauty.

“I plan to construct a circumferential road within Calintaan Island and build housing for informal settlers in the area.”

The governor recognizes the beauty of Subic Beach and its potential to become a top tourist destination in the Bicol Region.

To ensure that there will be no problems in the future, he believes in the power of consultation. 

Hamor instructed his team led by Planning Officer Dominador Jardin, Tourism Officer Bobby Gigantone, Provincial Assessor Nonoy Gilbas, Provincial Engineer  Odessa Tejada and Enro Officer Beth Fruto to come up with a detailed plan in preparation for the development of Subic Beach.

“We want to involve the community in the planning process so that we can address any concerns and ensure that this project will benefit everyone.”
