TUP TAGUIG CHETSOC CELEBRATES ACSO WEEK 2021

Creating a meaningful and memorable event is not only limited to human interaction. During these challenging times, students are also adapting and readjusting.

To encourage students in unlocking potential opportunities and venturing to new landscapes in the midst of a constantly changing environment, the TUP Taguig Chemical Engineering Technology Society (ChETSoc) in cooperation with University Student Government (USG) will be presenting its annual celebration of ACSO Week 2021 with the theme: “Engraving the Legacy for the Unyielding Generations.”

While remote distance learning provides learning continuity during this difficult time, our long-time tradition of celebrating Accredited Clubs and Organization of Students (ACSO Week) remains part of the most anticipated event we celebrate each year.

This year’s celebration will be conducted virtually, thus creating a hybrid experience and safer event environment for TUPTians.

ChETSoc will also be hosting a series of webinars sessions: Biological and Chemical Hazardous Waste Management (May 17, 2021) on proper chemical management to protect the health and safety of the surrounding communities and the environment; and Protect the World. Be educated. Get vaccinated. #GetVAX (May 21, 2021) to promote the use of vaccines to protect people of all ages against disease.

These webinars offer a wide array of valuable insights as students have become more and more diverse in their learning situations. This will also provide students with a platform to generate awareness on various subjects concerning various interests and over-all well-being, providing a quality learning experience for everyone.

The unprecedented impact of COVID-19 have shifted the paradigm the way we conduct university events.

While remote distance learning provides learning continuity during this difficult time, our long-time tradition of celebrating Accredited Clubs and Organization of Students (ACSO Week) remains part of the most anticipated event we celebrate each year.

The event is also organized by the University Student Government. ACSO week begins on May 17 (Monday) and will end on May 21, 2021 (Friday). See you there!
