TURNING TODAY’S STUDENTS INTO TOMORROW’S LEADERS

After a 2-year hiatus, De La Salle University’s Council of Student Organizations (CSO) brings back its annual event TUKLAS, Towards Uplifting Knowledge and Leadership Advancement Series.

TUKLAS is a three-day webinar series that puts in motion an effort to educate members of Generation Z, being the next set of leaders, through imparting values and lessons in leadership embedded in the Lasallian Core Values, particularly Faith, Service, and Communion in Mission.

TUKLAS 2021: The Next Set of Leaders will enable the participants to gain a deeper understanding of the role they hold as agents of change to subsequently empower them to have a voice in taking the lead.

Noted Lasallian graduates with a strong track record of experience in leadership and expertise in their respective fields will be speaking at the event. Both Lasallians and non-Lasallians are invited to participate in the event.

This year’s webinar series follows the theme TUKLAS 2021: The Next Set of Leaders, with talks covering matters on The Power of Information for Day 1, Envisioning the Future with Gen Z for Day 2, and Inclusivity in the Industry for Day 3.

As they partake in the conversation and dissemination of values facilitated by current leaders, TUKLAS 2021: The Next Set of Leaders will enable the participants to gain a deeper understanding of the role they hold as agents of change to subsequently empower them to have a voice in taking the lead.

The team behind TUKLAS 2021: The Next Set of Leaders is driven by the fundamental philosophy that everyone is equipped with the potential to lead. Nevertheless, more often than not, such potential is left untapped. Ensuring that students are excelling in academics is an integral part of the equation, yet ensuring that students are well-equipped to take the lead in inciting change is another part that is as crucial as the former.
