FIRST-CLASS DIALYSIS CENTER TO OPEN IN LAGUNA

Good news is on the horizon for patients in Laguna as Governor Sol Aragones announced the upcoming opening of a first-class dialysis center at Dr. Jose P. Rizal Memorial District Hospital in Calamba City this August.

The announcement, made on May 1 via her official Facebook page, highlights the provincial government’s continued effort to improve access to life-saving healthcare services.

The facility will primarily serve residents of Laguna’s 2nd District, although patients from across the province will also be accommodated.

“The new dialysis center will be equipped with 14 dialysis machines, capable of serving up to 40 patients daily.”

According to Aragones, the new dialysis center will be equipped with 14 dialysis machines, capable of serving up to 40 patients daily.

In addition to medical support, patients will also receive a monthly benefit of half a sack of rice, further easing their financial burden.

“Inilalapit na po natin ang dialysis center sa mga taga-2nd District ng Laguna, bagamat basta taga-Laguna ay tatanggapin po natin dito.”

“Kaya naman sa August, maglalagay na tayo ng first-class na dialysis center diyan po sa JP Rizal District Hospital sa Calamba,” the lady governor said.

“Inilalapit na po natin ang dialysis center sa mga taga-2nd District ng Laguna, bagamat basta taga-Laguna ay tatanggapin po natin dito,” she added.

The initiative comes alongside the ongoing construction of a new five-storey building within the hospital complex, aimed at expanding healthcare capacity in the province.

Despite being only nine months into her term, Aragones emphasized her commitment to public service and healthcare improvements.

“Aba’y ganadong-ganado pa rin po ako dahil totoong may pakialam ako sa inyo,” Aragones said, noting that she still has two years and three months left to fulfill her plans for Laguna.

This development marks a significant step toward strengthening the province’s public healthcare system, particularly for patients requiring regular and costly dialysis treatment.

By bringing essential services closer to communities and providing added support to patients, the initiative is expected to improve both access and quality of care.

As the project nears completion, residents can look forward to more inclusive, responsive, and patient-centered healthcare services in Laguna.
