The Games and Amusements Board (GAB) proudly welcomed home reigning IBF World Minimumweight Champion, Pedro Taduran Jr., after his spectacular seventh‑round knockout victory over Mexican challenger Gustavo Perez Alvarez in Temecula, California.
Chairman Atty. Francisco Rivera, joined by Commissioners Angel Bautista and key GAB officials, congratulated Taduran on his third successful title defense, praising his dominance and resilience inside the ring.
Plans for future bouts against top contenders and mandatory challengers were also discussed, alongside initiatives to further strengthen Philippine boxing.
