“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.” — Thomas A. Edison

The pandemic has brought a lot of missed opportunities from several industries, especially the music industry that relies on production and on-ground promotions. Even with online opportunities, the market is saturated with new content daily that unless you go viral, it can be close to impossible to have a successful debut. But this hasn’t stopped plenty of artists. Today we’re talking about one of the rising stars of P-POP, LITZ.

Who is LITZ?

LITZ, or Life In The Sunshine, is a 5-member Pinoy Pop Group consisting of Ashtine Olviga, Heart Ryan Evangelista, Fatima Anonuevo, Bianca Santos, and Yumi Garcia. Managed by Viva Entertainment, they are the sister group of the boy group ALAMAT. They started their training last May 2021 under Teacher Georcelle who has trained artists and entertainers in the past like Anne Curtis, and Sarah G. LITZ officially started their online promotions last October, with their pre-debut cover, “NATATARANTA”, released last November 11.

NATATARANTA is a song originally sung by James Reid for “Diary ng Panget: The Movie”. Despite being a cover, the release has over 400 thousand views on YouTube, and 23 thousand streams on Spotify. It has an updated production that improves on the build up to the chorus and features a dance break. It features their strong vocals, and the badass personalities of the members.

The Arrival of LITZ

LITZ was one of the 10 music acts on the online concert, “The Arrival: The Next Chapter of OPM”, which streamed on KTX.PH, IWANTTFC, TFC IPTV last November 27, and VIVAMAX PLUS last November 29. Part of the line up was their brother group, ALAMAT, and other rising names like Because, Claudia Barretto, Lyca Gairanod, Magnus Haven, and more. If you missed it, don’t worry! The Arrival will be available one more time this December 31, on VIVAMAX.
