MAYOR ISKO TO SUPPORT BASIC NEEDS OF MANILENYOS

Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso has reaffirmed the commitment of the Manila City government to its residents’ most basic needs.

Speaking at the 59th EARIST Commencement Exercises at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Domagoso told the Class of 2026 that Manila will continue working alongside them as they build their futures.

“Sabay-sabay tayong lalaban tungo sa maayos na kinabukasan,” the mayor said, addressing both graduates and their families in the audience.

He said the city’s focus remains on what he called the Minimum Basic Needs—housing, education, healthcare, and jobs—to keep creating opportunities for Manila residents.

Domagoso also made a personal pledge to the graduates, promising to seek strength daily to serve as an effective and responsible steward of the city’s resources.

Domagoso told graduates that even as they move forward independently, the city government will be working in parallel to support the communities they come from.
