PRC CLEARS LANDSLIDE-HIT NUEVA VIZCAYA ROADS

Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Chairman/CEO Dick Gordon immediately sent payloaders stationed at PRC’s Nueva Vizcaya Chapter to help the provincial government of Nueva Vizcaya clear areas affected by landslides.

“PRC understands how crucial it is to have the payloaders dispatched immediately to clear the CVR Bayombong-Masoc-Ambaguio Road where only one lane was left passable due to landslides caused by heavy rains the other day,” Gordon said.

“The immediate move to clear the roads will help vegetable growers move their produce from the province to Baguio and the National Capital region.”

PRC Secretary-General, Dr. Gwen Pang, said the immediate move to clear the roads will help vegetable growers move their produce from the province to Baguio and the National Capital region.

The humanitarian organization has amphibians, humvees, payloaders, trucks, ambulances, water tankers, ambulances, motorcycles and a ship that are all prepositioned across the country to ensure immediate response in case of any event.
