RIVERA SWEARS IN NEW PVL ROOKIE PLAYERS 

A new generation of professional volleyball athletes officially begins its journey as the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) rookies took their oath before the Games and Amusements Board (GAB) during the Orientation and Oath-Taking Ceremony held at the GAB Central Office in Makati City.

GAB Chairman Atty. Francisco Rivera led the orientation and oath-taking ceremony, together with Commissioner Angel Bautista and OIC- ProSports Division Chief Dr. Oliver Evangelista.

In his message, Rivera congratulated the athletes and reminded them to carefully review their contracts with their respective teams, plan for their financial future, and uphold the Professional Athletes’ Code of Ethics and Conduct by promoting discipline, integrity, sportsmanship, and professionalism both on and off the playing court.

“Be careful about your decisions, because now, it’s not just a kid’s play, it’s not just a simple volleyball game at the corner.”

As the 2026 PVL season approaches, these newly licensed professionals are set to bring fresh talent, determination, and excitement to the league.
