SURIGAO DEL NORTE, SGV SIGN ECONOMIC PACT

In a significant step towards boosting economic growth, Surigao del Norte Provincial Government, Surigao City Government, and SGV (Sycip, Gorres & Velayo) have formed a groundbreaking partnership.

This collaboration, sealed with a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), marks a key milestone for the province’s advancement.

Governor Lyndon Barbers and SGV & Co. Chairman and Country Managing Partner Wilson Tan signed the MOA in Metro Manila recently.

“The partnership forged between the Provincial Government of Surigao del Norte and SGV & Company marks a significant milestone in the journey of Surigao del Norte towards progress and prosperity,” Barbers stressed.

The event was attended by witnesses, including Surigao Representative Ace Barbers, Surigao City Mayor Paul Dumlao II, and SGV & Co. Strategy and Transactions Partner Stephanie Tan-Hamed.

Both parties are dedicated to uncovering fresh economic prospects for the people of Surigao del Norte.

Through this partnership, Surigao City, as the sole component city of Surigao del Norte, is set to experience transformative growth.
