Quezon City, Philippines — The University of the Philippines Anime Manga Enthusiasts (UP AME) proudly unveils the exciting lineup of competitions and stage activities for AME Matsuri 2026, set to take place on August 14, 2026, at the Open Space between Vinzons Hall and the Student Union Building, UP Diliman.
As part of UP AME’s 25th Anniversary Celebration, AME Matsuri 2026 will bring together anime, manga, cosplay, music, and Japanese pop culture enthusiasts for a full-day festival featuring live performances, merchant booths, minigames, and opportunities for fans to showcase their talents.
Among the event highlights are two featured competitions that invite attendees to take center stage:
- AniSong! Singing Competition – A showcase of vocal talent through iconic anime songs.
- AniCos! Cosplay Performance Competition – A stage performance competition celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and character portrayal.
In addition to the competitions, attendees can look forward to a variety of activities, including:
- Stage Minigames
- Open Mic Segment
- Special Guest Performances and Appearances
- Merchant booths featuring anime merchandise, artwork, and fan-made creations
Whether participants are performers, artists, collectors, or simply anime fans, AME Matsuri 2026 aims to provide a welcoming space that celebrates creativity and the shared passion for Japanese pop culture.
